Sydney Weighbridges Sydney Weighbridges Pty Limited is currently managed by M. Armstrong and was established as a service company to the transport industry in 2009 taking over the company Standard Weighbridges that was established in 1930 by Wentworth Armstrong.The business continued to expand in its service by his son John Armstrong through the mid 20th century. Wentworth’s grandson Roger Armstrong has continued to develop the company, incorporating Standard Autoweigh as a business to complement the service provided by Standard Weighbridges P/L through out of hours weighings and also providing other locations in Australia to weigh. The company has gone on to develop larger and more high-tech systems, and trucks have continued to grow larger, from having weighbridges 10 metres long, we now have 27 metres length at one site. |
